....happiness around us...

happiness comes through success and pursuit of happyness 'modifies' You, and You doesnt have a slightest of knowledge about it. Ideally, during the pursuit, the metamorphosis undergone by You should have a postive influence on You and the society. This metamorphosis should surface out the qualities of a true human being in You and make You a better person. Instead the non ideality seems to be the order of the day. In the pursuit of happyness You resort to all possible unfair means even to the extent of losing out their self-integrity and unfortunately the success achieved by this surfaces out negative qualities in You, qualities like selfishness, pride and so on . During the metamorphosis You stoops down to such a level, that the self-realization of You would make You feel like a 'savage'. In the process You emanates the negative influences to others in the society, and the spangs of 'negativitism' spreads.

Even though You is associated with so much of gloominess You is successful and remains happy and why You still remains happy is a million dollar question. Does this mean that if one should stoop down to whatever extent for the pursuit of happyness. Where do the lesson learnt in childhood have a role to play and apparently it seems the childhood lessons are practically non-existent in today's world. The paradox is that people who stoop down are the people who are successful.

The question which baffles me the most is that how could You barter You's self-integrity, You's self-esteem for happiness. Does the happiness achieved after such a deal still remains 'happiness'? This 'happiness though at times may be envied by others in society but is this happiness worth enjoying? This is the happiness around us if it's worthy enough to be called happiness.

NB : Here 'You' has been personified.
